Most insulation problems are invisible. Nobody sees the gap around a rim joist or the bare cavity behind a plaster wall. People just feel the draft, hear the neighbors and pay the heating bill.
Puza Construction, Inc. exists to deal with the part of a building nobody looks at, and to do it properly.
We are a Brooklyn insulation contractor, based at 239 Bay 14th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11214. The company is run by its owner, Derek Puza. One client wrote in his review that the owner was very knowledgeable about his trade.
What we do today
Our work is spray foam insulation. We install it in houses, apartments and commercial buildings, where one layer handles both temperature and sound. We also insulate trucks and vans: walls, ceiling and floor of the cargo area, for businesses that need a stable interior on the road.
That is the whole list, and it is short on purpose. A contractor who concentrates on foam gets good at the details that decide whether a job lasts: surface preparation, even thickness, clean trimming, a tidy site at the end.
Licensed, insured and local
Puza Construction, Inc. is licensed and insured. Our focus is New York: New York City and the surrounding area, where we work with the kind of buildings we know best. The company is also licensed in other states, so an out-of-state project is something we can discuss.
We work with residential and commercial clients, and the approach is the same for both.
How we work

Every job starts with a free estimate. We look at the space, ask what bothers you about it and explain what foam will and will not fix. If you need less than you expected, we say so. One of our clients put it this way in his review: we sold him exactly what he needed instead of trying to oversell.

On site, the crew protects what should not be sprayed, installs the foam, trims it and cleans up. Trash leaves with us. You get your space back ready for the next trade, or ready to live in.
